A helicopter from the Philippine Adventist Medical Aviation Services (PAMAS) is reported missing Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The helicopter was being used to transfer patients from far-flung areas and was last located in the vicinity of Balabac, Palawan.

PAMAS wrote on a Facebook post “The PAMAS Palawan med-evac helicopter, based in Brooke’s Point did not arrive as scheduled on March 1. Search and rescue is in progress
