More Bans And Cases For Amadeus Pagente AKA Pura Luka Vega

Hijos del Nazareno, a religious group associated with Quiapo Church, has filed a complaint against drag queen Pura Luka Vega for violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act or RA 10175.
The group alleges that Vega's actions, particularly a blasphemous video where he dressed as Jesus Nazarene and danced to the Ama Namin Remix song, have caused offense and disrespect to their religious beliefs.
The complaint was filed at the prosecutor's office of Manila and seeks legal action against Amadeus Fernando Pagente, also known as Pura Luka Vega. The group emphasizes that they are open to forgiveness if Vega apologizes and seeks forgiveness from the church.
Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding Pura Luka Vega continues to grow. Councilor Rommel Kambal Acuña shared on Facebook that the Pagente is not welcome in Marikina City due to the viral video.
According to News Reports, the drag queen is also banned in Cebu City.
These cities join the list of locations that have declared Pura Luka Vega as persona non grata in recent days.
