President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed relief as 56 more Filipinos successfully left Gaza, joining the 42 individuals who had previously crossed, amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

This development brings the total number of evacuated Filipinos to 98 out of the 137 originally in Gaza.

The evacuees are now en route to Cairo, a safer destination amid the escalating tensions in the region.
