The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has officially denied the Motions for Reconsideration (MR) filed by media giants GMA Network, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation.

This decision comes in response to the controversy surrounding the July 25, 2023 episode of the popular noontime television program, "It's Showtime!"

The MTRCB's ruling, issued on August 17, 2023, addressed concerns raised about the "Isip Bata" segment of the show, during which hosts Ryan Bang, Vice Ganda, and Ion Perez were alleged to have engaged in indecent or inappropriate behavior in the presence of children.

These actions were perceived as a potential violation of Chapter IV Section 2 (b) (1) of the 2004 Implementing Rules and Regulations of Presidential Decree No. 1986.

In its resolution dated September 28, 2023, the MTRCB affirmed its earlier decision, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring that television content adheres to established standards, especially when it involves the welfare of minors.

GMA Network, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation have yet to comment on the MTRCB's latest decision.
