The Navotas Regional Trial Court has delivered a verdict of "Guilty" for one of the six police officers accused in the killing of Jemboy Baltazar in August 2023.

The court meanwhile pronounced four of the accused officers guilty on charges related to illegal discharge of firearms. One officer was acquitted of all charges.

The court's decision has left Rodaliza Baltazar, the mother of the deceased Jemboy, disheartened. Jemboy Baltazar lost his life in August 2023 after being mistakenly identified as a suspect in a crime.
