In preparation for various potential incidents, the NCRPO will conduct simulations and communication exercises. These exercises will enable them to implement contingency measures effectively and respond swiftly to any situation that may arise.

"We anticipate protests to take place on this day, so we are fully prepared to maintain order and ensure the security of everyone involved. We will strictly enforce maximum tolerance and adhere to Police Operational Procedures, with a particular focus on respecting the human rights of all participants," stated PMGEN Okubo.

Furthermore, PMGEN Okubo reiterated the temporary suspension of the issuance of "Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence" (PTCFOR) in Metro Manila from 12:01 AM on July 24, 2023, until 12:00 MN of the same day.
