In a move to address the aftermath of heavy rainfall and ensuing flooding, Governor Edwin Ongchuan has officially declared a State of Calamity in the Province of Northern Samar.
This decision, made in collaboration with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) and authorized by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, is hoped to mitigate the impacts of the natural disaster.
