World-renowned pole vaulter, EJ Obiena, is considering the possibility of taking legal action against Anais Lavillenie, the wife of fellow vaulter Renaud Lavillenie, after facing doping accusations on social media.

In response to the allegations, Obiena posted a screenshot of the comment made by Anais Lavillenie on Facebook. In his statement, Obiena asserted, "I want to remain classy and dignified on this subject. All I will say is I am disappointed, angry, and feel wronged by these statements. I will let the story evolve while my team explores the many angles, including legal. I guess this is part of the price you pay when you win."

The controversy appears to stem from a comment by Anais Lavillenie, implying that Obiena had used performance-enhancing drugs and would experience a fall similar to Brazilian pole vaulter Thiago Braz, who faced doping allegations in the past.
