Manila, Philippines – A recent survey conducted by OCTA Research reveals that a significant portion of Filipinos support the idea of strengthening and expanding military cooperation between the United States and the Philippines to address the ongoing territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea.

The survey results indicate that 54% of respondents expressed favor towards enhanced bilateral military ties for the purpose of resolving the complex maritime conflicts in the region.

The survey, which was conducted during the second quarter of the year, gathered responses from a diverse range of Filipinos across different geographic areas and socio-economic classes.
