Filipino singer-songwriter Odette Quesada is set to commemorate her four-decade journey in the music industry with a concert at the Newport World Resorts on September 1.

According to the concert poster, tickets for the concert will be made available soon.

Quesada gained fame after her success in the Metro Manila Pop Music Festival. She won second place in 1982 with "Give Me a Chance" with the song "Give Me a Chance," performed by Ric Segreto. The following year, in 1983, she claimed the top spot with "Til I Met You," sung by Kuh Ledesma.

Throughout the 1980s, Quesada music continued to dominate the airwaves, with many of her songs being performed and recorded by the era's superstars.

"Don't Know What To Do, Don't Know What To Say" remains a timeless hit, originally sung by the late Ric Segreto.

"I Need You Back" and "Farewell" were consecutive hits for Raymond Lauchengco, who gained popularity through his appearance in the movie "Bagets." The film featured another one of Quesada's hit songs, "Growing Up," performed by Gary Valenciano.

Although Quesada initially started her career as a songwriter for other artists, she also pursued her own singing career.

In 1984, she unveiled her debut album titled "Hopeless Romantic," which featured tracks like "Friend of Mine", "I Need You Back", and "Till I Met You."
