In a thrilling PBA Governors' Cup match, the TNT Tropang Giga emerged victorious with a last-second game-winning shot by Calvin Oftana. The Tropang Giga won 105-103 against San Miguel Beer, securing their sixth consecutive win, and solo lead in the standings with an 8-1 win-loss slate.

The game was a nail-biter with neither team leading by more than eight points throughout. The Tropang Giga fought bravely, missing their top two shooters in RR Pogoy and Mikey Williams. Williams suffered an ankle sprain in the second quarter, leaving the Tropang Giga to rely on Castro, Kelly Williams, Hollis-Jefferson, and Oftana.

The game boiled down to the last rebound play, with Oftana snaring the offensive rebound and making the game-winning basket at the buzzer. The Beermen had tied the game for the last time at 103 on a three-point play by Cameron Clark with just 13.1 seconds left on the clock.

The Tropang Giga's win sent the Beermen down to second place in the standings with a 7-2 win-loss slate. Both teams will now shift their focus on their coming EASL Champions Week stints in Japan, resuming their PBA campaigns in mid-March.
