ONIC Esports Clinches MSC 2023 Title Over Blacklist International

Indonesia's ONIC Esports claimed the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 by defeating the Philippines' Blacklist International 4-2 in the best-of-seven grand finals on June 18.

This achievement marks ONIC's second MSC trophy, solidifying their status as legends in the Mobile Legends esports scene.

It is noteworthy to mention that both Kairi Rayosdelsol and coach Denver "Yeb" Miranda of ONIC Indonesia are imports from the Philippines.

"Ignite the spirit of triumph as we, ONIC INDONESIA, are your MSC 2023 CHAMPIONS! The desire for success knows no bounds as we navigate the hurdles of the competition with determination. Thank you for being with me throughout this one-for-the-book journey. Ang kampyeonatong ito ay hindi lang para sa akin—kung hindi para rin sa buong Pilipinas!" Kairi wrote on Facebook on June 18.

As the 2nd runner-up of MSC2023, Blacklist International concluded their journey in this prestigious tournament with pride.

"With that, our #MSC2023 run comes to an end as we finish 2nd place. The journey to #CompleteTheCrown continues.Thank you for keeping the faith, agents," Blacklist posted on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Philippines' ECHO Esports Team achieved a third-place finish in MSC 2023.

"And after two nerve-wrecking series, our MSC run ends here. Thank you for your support from start to finish. Each team we went up against really gave their all, and so did we. We’ll get that elusive MSC trophy next time," ECHO wrote on Facebook.
