In a major development, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared the arrest of Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as illegal. The ruling has come as a relief to the party, which has been protesting for the holding of fair and free elections in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Taimur Jhagra, a senior member of PTI, stated that the protests held by the party were peaceful and any sort of violence was condemned. He further added that a government official had tried to motivate PTI supporters to resort to violence, but the party had exposed him.

Jhagra expressed concern over the registration of murder and terrorism cases against him and his colleagues, as well as the midnight raids taking place on their supporters. He made it clear that the party did not intend any sort of confrontation with the armed forces and would follow the law and constitution.

The PTI has been protesting against the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) regime, which they claim has taken the country to its knees. The party is demanding fair and free elections, and the removal of the current government.

The recent ruling by the Supreme Court has given the party renewed hope and energy to continue their protests. However, Jhagra emphasized that their protests would remain peaceful and any sort of violence would not be tolerated.

The situation in Pakistan remains tense, and the PTI's demands continue to be a contentious issue. It is yet to be seen how the government and the armed forces will respond to the ongoing protests.
