Passengers of CESSNA Plane Crash in Albay Confirmed Dead

Officials from the Province of Albay and Camalig town have confirmed that the four passengers aboard a Cessna 340A are dead.
“FYI: Efforts focused on Cessna 340A shall now shift from RESCUE to RETRIEVAL operations,” Camalig Mayor Carlos Irwin “Caloy” Baldo said in his post Wednesday night.
“An additional group of responders has taken off from barangay Anoling, Camalig, Albay, at 11:35 PM last night, to retrieve the bodies of the four individuals who perished in a plane crash,” he added Thursday.
He said that the team is headed to the Forest Ranger Station (FRS) in Albay, where the wreckage of the plane was found.
Mayor Baldo said that the rescue operation is being carried out by a joint team of local authorities, including the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
