President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is set to embark on a journey to Dubai to participate in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
Departing from Manila on Thursday morning, November 30, the President, along with his delegation, aims to contribute to global discussions on addressing climate change.
According to DFA Asec. Maria Teresa Almojuela, the President's itinerary includes not only active participation in the COP28 but also bilateral meetings with other world leaders attending the conference.
These discussions are anticipated to foster collaboration and strategize collective efforts in combating the pressing challenges posed by climate change.
