President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with top executives from leading Japanese corporations Saturday to explore potential business prospects in the Philippines.

The delegation included executives from Toyota Motors Corp., MinebeaMitsumi Inc., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. and Marubeni Corp. who discussed areas of cooperation with the President, including energy, healthcare, and manufacturing.

The meetings were organized as part of the President's efforts to promote sustainability and position the Philippines as a desirable investment destination. This initiative is aimed at fortifying relationships with Japanese investors and attracting more investment to the country.

During the meeting, the President emphasized the country's strong economic growth, the robust business environment and the availability of a highly skilled workforce. He expressed his commitment to supporting the growth and development of these industries, highlighting the potential for further growth and investment in the Philippines.
