In a major joint operation, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Bureau of Customs (BOC), successfully intercepted a staggering 323 kilograms of suspected Shabu with an estimated street value of ₱2.19 billion at the Manila Port this week.
Preliminary investigations have linked the illicit shipment to Mexico, with the contraband being concealed in a jerky beef shipment.
Deputy Commissioner for Customs Intelligence Group Juvymax Uy said that the operation is a coordinated response to the President’s call to protect the country’s borders and ensure the security of all ports of entry.
