PH Bags 3rd Gold Medal At The 19th Asian Games

Annie Ramirez, a rising star in Philippine Jiu-jitsu, clinched the country's third gold medal at the 19th Asian Games.
Ramirez's remarkable win came in the Women's -57kg category, where she faced off against the formidable Galina Duvanova of Kazakhstan.
Three-time Asian champion Ramirez scored a sweep on Duvanova with less than 30 seconds remaining. That was all she needed to secure the country’s 3rd gold medal.
The Philippines also celebrated a silver medal win as Pinoy boxing Olympian Eumir Marcial took on the host country's formidable boxer, Tanglatihan Tuohetaerbieke of China, in the Men's 71-80kg category.
Despite a valiant effort, Marcial narrowly missed the gold but earned a silver medal for his outstanding performance.
