The Philippines national Women's Basketball Team emerged victorious, securing a much-needed win that not only retained their position in the top flight of the FIBA Women's Asia Basket but also propelled them to the qualification for the semi-finals. This victory comes as a result of their third attempt, making it a case of third time lucky for the determined Philippine team.
Facing off against Chinese Taipei in Group B, the Philippine team showcased their skills and determination, triumphing over their opponents with a final score of 92-81. The court erupted with scenes of relief and jubilation as the Philippine players celebrated their hard-earned victory, marking a significant achievement for the team.
One standout player for the Philippine team was Jack Animam, who delivered an exceptional performance in her national team vest.
