The Philippine National Police (PNP) has announced the resolution of 4,082 cases involving its personnel, spanning from January 1, 2022, to August 30, 2023.

The cases encompass a range of penalties imposed, including dismissals from the service, demotions, suspensions, forfeitures of salary, reprimands, restrictions, and cases of withholding of privileges.

This step underscores the PNP's commitment to ensuring that its personnel adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. It serves as a reminder that those who engage in unlawful activities and misdemeanors will face appropriate consequences, including dismissal from the service when necessary.

PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. commented on this milestone, stating, "The PNP is strengthening its Internal Disciplinary Mechanism and intensifying efforts to reiterate the Doctrine of Command Responsibility and Police Operational Procedures to every member on the ground. We are sending a clear message to the people that the PNP leadership strongly condemns any wrongdoing by its few misguided members."

He also emphasized the PNP's continuous cleanup of its ranks and the removal of corrupt police officers, highlighting the presence of more honorable policemen who remain dedicated to their duties.
The PNP remains steadfast in maintaining the trust and confidence of the Filipino people. As it continues its mission to serve and protect, the PNP aims to build a force that truly exemplifies integrity, honor, and dedication.
