TNT's Roger Pogoy and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led Tropang Giga's 138-116 victory over Blackwater Bossing in the PBA Governors Cup on Wednesday. The win extended TNT's unbeaten run to five games, pushing them to the top of the standings on a 6-1 record overall.

Pogoy set a new season-high record, becoming the first local player to reach the 40-point mark in the season-ending conference. He was on fire with 13-of-21 field shooting, including 7-of-13 from beyond the arc, and added nine rebounds to his tally.

Hollis-Jefferson, who was making his debut for TNT, made a solid impression with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. TNT took full control of the game in the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring their opponents in every period. Despite the Bossing locals' efforts to fight back, the Tropa's dominance proved too much for them.

Coach Jojo Lastimosa praised Hollis-Jefferson's unselfishness and his ability to create opportunities for his teammates. "You can see that Roger has more open shots that I've seen him in a long time. Ang daming libre, hindi lang si Roger, because Rondae, we know that's one of his skills," said Lastimosa.

The loss was Blackwater's fifth straight and sixth in seven games in all, as they struggled to keep up with the Tropa's fast-paced game. Troy Williams, who has been the Bossing's leading scorer, got into early foul trouble and was limited to just 22 points.

TNT and San Miguel are tied at the top of the PBA Standings after Wednesday’s match.
