Pope Francis Holds Private Audience With Portuguese Abuse Victims During World Youth Day Visit

Pope Francis met privately with a group of 13 victims of clerical sexual abuse in Portugal during his Apostolic Visit to celebrate World Youth Day 2023. The meeting took place at the Apostolic Nunciature in a reserved context, where the Holy Father dedicated over an hour to listen to the victims' experiences.
