In the early morning hours of May 1, 2023, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 experienced a power outage, causing inconvenience to many passengers. The outage occurred at approximately 1:05 AM and affected the computer systems of airlines and Immigration.
Despite the power outage, the standby power supply was able to partially provide electricity to critical facilities, allowing for some of the computer systems to function. However, the outage caused delayed flights.

Cancelation of Domestic Flights
As of 12:30 PM today, May 1, 2023, Cebu Pacific has released a statement stating that the cancellation of 23 domestic flights was due to a power outage that affected their systems, making it impossible to continue with the scheduled flights.
Passengers affected by the cancellations were advised to contact Cebu Pacific's customer service to rebook their flights or to arrange for a refund.
Cebu Pacific also added that they will be operating an additional flight, 5J 391/392, from Manila to Cagayan and vice versa.
The airline apologized for any inconvenience the cancellations may cause and assured passengers that they are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.
