President Ferdinand 'Bong Bong' Marcos Jr. Strongly Condemns MSU Bombing And Vows Justice

In a statement released on his official X account, President Ferdinand "Bong Bong" Marcos Jr. expressed vehement condemnation for the senseless and heinous acts carried out by foreign terrorists at Mindanao State University (MSU) and the Marawi communities early Sunday morning. The President declared that those who commit violence against the innocent will be treated as enemies of society.

President Marcos extended heartfelt condolences to the victims, their families, and the affected communities, emphasizing solidarity in the face of this latest assault on peace. He acknowledged and appreciated the swift response from the regional government of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and the Local Government Units, thanking them for their immediate support.

Taking decisive action, President Marcos instructed the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to prioritize the protection and safety of civilians, deploying additional security personnel to affected areas. He urged the public to remain calm and vigilant, cautioning against the spread of inaccurate and unofficial information as reports continue to emerge.

The President assured the nation that the perpetrators of this ruthless act would be brought to justice. As a final note, he called for collective prayers for the victims, their families, and the affected communities, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of adversity.
