President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called for an urgent Command Conference with top security authorities to address the recent breach of international maritime laws by China in the West Philippine Sea.
This conference sought to discuss and take action on the distressing events that unfolded during the RORE mission to Ayungin Shoal, where vessels from the China Coast Guard were involved in dangerous, illegal, and reckless maneuvers.
During the conference, President Marcos Jr. conveyed his deep concern over the incident, which took place well within the Philippines' exclusive economic zone. The maneuvering by the China Coast Guard vessels resulted in severe damage to a Philippine vessel, further exacerbating tensions in the region.

This investigation will aim to gather all pertinent details surrounding the event and ascertain the responsibilities and consequences of the actions taken by the China Coast Guard vessels.
