He thanked the ROK, along with Japan and the United States, for emphasizing the importance of international law in maintaining stability in the Indo-Pacific during recent meetings held in Camp David.

The President also acknowledged the ROK's assistance in addressing the massive oil spill in Oriental Mindoro in April and expressed appreciation for the government's contribution to emergency humanitarian assistance for damages caused by recent typhoons. He further thanked the ROK for the 400 metric tons of rice donated to the Philippines through the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR).

Regarding the economy, President Marcos emphasized the importance of ASEAN and ROK continuing their efforts on ASEAN connectivity and expanding through the effective implementation of ASEAN-ROK economic cooperation projects and programs to enhance supply chain mutual trade.
