President Suspends LTFRB Chair Amid Corruption Allegations

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the suspension of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.
This decision comes in response to reports of alleged corruption within the LTFRB under Guadiz's leadership.
In a statement, President Marcos said that he is committed to eradicating corruption from the government and that he will not tolerate any misconduct in his administration.
The President has issued instructions for an immediate and thorough investigation into the allegations.
The Presidential Communication Office (PCO) released a statement condemning “dishonesty and duplicity in public service”, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability at all levels of government.
