The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closed at 6,711.49, up 6.37 points or 0.10 percent.
This marks the third consecutive day of gains for the country's benchmark stock index.
According to the PSE's official website, the total value of today's trades amounted to PHP 5.4 billion, with 72 advances, 120 declines, and 46 unchanged stocks. While the market's performance was relatively mixed, foreign investors continued to show interest in Philippine equities.
Foreign buying for the day was reported at PHP 2,352,920,479.94, while foreign selling amounted to PHP 2,340,649,087.26. As a result, the net foreign buying position was reported at PHP 12,271,392.68.
