Raffy Mosuela Takes Helm As Interim Head Coach For Akari Chargers In The 2024 PVL Season

In a strategic move to revitalize their performance, Akari Chargers has appointed Raffy Mosuela as the interim head coach for the upcoming 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season. The announcement was made by the team on Tuesday afternoon, setting the stage for a new era under Mosuela's leadership.

Mosuela, who previously served as a member of the coaching staff under Jorge Souza de Brito, is stepping into the interim head coach role as the team aims to bounce back from a seventh-place finish in the previous conference. The Akari Chargers expressed their enthusiasm for the new chapter in a Facebook post, stating, "Charging into an exciting new chapter with a new interim head coach leading the way. Coach Raffy Mosuela has taken on the role of interim head coach for the Akari Chargers."

The team extended their support to Coach Raffy, saying, "We're right behind you as you lead the charge, Coach Raffy. It's time for an electrifying season."

As Mosuela takes the reins, he is set to inherit a promising squad, featuring notable players such as Faith Nisperos, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Fifi Sharma, Erika Raagas, and Michelle Cobb. The team has also welcomed newcomers Grethcel Soltones and Ced Domingo, adding fresh talent to their roster.

The Chargers concluded the season-ending Second All-Filipino Conference with a 5-6 win-loss record, and with Mosuela at the helm, the team is gearing up for a season filled with potential and determination.
