Ralph Recto Appointed As New DOF Chief

In a recent interview uploaded on the Abante TeleTabloid YouTube channel, actress and wife of Ralph Recto, Vilma Santos, revealed that her husband has been appointed as the new Secretary of Finance under the administration of Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. The official swearing-in ceremony is set to take place tomorrow, January 12, 2024.
Santos expressed her confidence in Recto's capabilities, emphasizing his expertise as a skilled economist. She stated, "He has been entrusted with this position because of the trust placed in him. I'm really praying, and I pray for my husband that I know his heart when it comes to helping our country. I pray that he will do a good job and that he won't be subjected to negative comments or vibes because his intention is genuinely to contribute to resolving our economic challenges."
Recto, known for his background in economics and public service, is expected to bring his wealth of experience to the forefront as he takes on the responsibilities of leading the Department of Finance during the Bongbong Marcos Jr. administration.
