Record Number Of Students Register For SY 2023-2024: 16.8 Million And Counting

In a recent update from the Learner Information System (LIS) Quick Count for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024, a staggering total of 16,816,221 students have registered as of August 21, 2022, 10:15 AM. As enrollment continues until August 26, 2023, this number is expected to rise even further.
Leading the registration count is Region IV-A with a remarkable 2,858,606 students, followed closely by the National Capital Region (NCR) with 2,220,470, and Region III with 1,868,161 registrants.
The enrollment trend showcases the enthusiasm of students and parents to secure their educational journey, further highlighted by the Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners' ability to register in various convenient locations, including barangays, community learning centers, and local public schools.
