Regasco LPG, one of the leading liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) providers in the Philippines, announced on April 10 that they will be implementing a rollback of P2.50 per kilogram of LPG starting tomorrow, April 11, 2023. 

This decision comes as a result of a reduction in the world contract price of LPG, which has been influenced by lower consumption and demand during the summer season in Asia.

The summer season typically sees a decrease in LPG consumption in Asia as it is a time when many households tend to reduce their usage of LPG for cooking and other household purposes. This lower demand has led to a decrease in the world contract price of LPG, prompting Regasco LPG to pass on the savings to their customers through the rollback in prices.

This rollback in LPG prices is expected to bring relief to many households in the Philippines who rely on LPG for cooking and other household needs. With the reduced price, consumers can expect to see a decrease in their monthly LPG expenses, which could provide some financial relief for families, especially during a time when inflation is relatively higher and when prices of other goods are also increased.
