Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity, Carlo Galvez, Jr., emphasized the critical importance of unity in fostering peace, development, and prosperity in the Philippines.

He emphasized the need for Filipinos to stand together against any divisive efforts that threaten the unity of the nation.

The adviser highlighted the significant strides made through the comprehensive peace process, which brought an end to decades of armed conflict in Mindanao. Galvez urged continued support for the administration's peace, reconciliation, and unity agenda, emphasizing the tangible dividends of peace that are now benefiting the entire nation.

He pointed out that former members of revolutionary groups are actively contributing to nation-building, playing a crucial role in promoting genuine peace and sustainable development in the Bangsamoro region. Galvez celebrated Mindanao's transformation from a land of volatility and armed struggle to a symbol of hope, mutual understanding, and solidarity.
