In a recent post on X, President Ferdinand Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. joyfully announced that Noralyn Babadilla, the second Filipino held in Gaza, has been safely released and is now back in Israel.
President Marcos, who had expressed concern for Babadilla's whereabouts just days ago, credited the collaborative efforts between Philippine Embassy officials in Tel Aviv and Israeli authorities for ensuring her safe return.
In a statement, President Marcos expressed his gratitude to Israeli authorities for facilitating Noralyn's release and for their ongoing support to Filipinos in Israel.
He also extended thanks to Egypt and the State of Qatar for their crucial roles throughout the process over the past several weeks.
