Senator Alan Peter Cayetano has called on government officials in Taguig City to prioritize their responsibility towards the people rather than their authority. During a Facebook livestream after the celebration of Taguig's 436th founding anniversary on April 24, 2023, Cayetano emphasized the need for officials to focus on fulfilling their duties to ensure the welfare of the people.

Cayetano highlighted some of the essential goals that officials must achieve, such as improving scholarships for youth, ensuring that senior citizens have all their needs fulfilled, and making parks and facilities more accessible to persons with disabilities. He also emphasized the importance of preventive care and asked if Taguig residents have enough access to healthcare when they need it.

The senator also encouraged Filipinos to pray for the people of Taguig, as they strive to build a community that follows the culture that God wants for them. He also stressed the significance of loving one's neighbor, loving God, and loving one's city, emphasizing that officials should reciprocate the love of their city's residents.

Cayetano expressed his gratitude to the Lord for Taguig's "Probinsyudad," praising the city's modern amenities and its community spirit. He also thanked his wife, Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, and the city's officials for leading the celebration during the City Government's flag ceremony.
