Senator Cynthia Villar has spoken out about a circulating video on social media that features her.

In the video statement addressing the issue, she discusses her legal battle with the BF Resort Village homeowners association. Villar claims that the association is prohibiting the use of the Friendship route, which is against local legislation. She filed a case before the regional trial court in Las Pinas and was granted a temporary restraining order.

The senator believes that the association is upset because they are losing income from the free Friendship sticker that is available to Las Pineros. The homeowners association has reportedly removed signages indicating that they should honor the Friendship sticker and have blocked access to Villar's composting facility.

Villar claims that she has encountered several problems involving the homeowners association, including the removal of signages, blocking access to her composting facility, and prohibiting her from planting trees in the easement area. She has instructed her lawyers to study the appropriate cases and actions in addition to the complaint that was granted to her at the regional trial court.

The senator stated that she does not want to be remembered as a senator who kept quiet, but rather someone who fought for what is right and good for the people. Villar's legal battle with the BF Resort Village homeowners association is ongoing, and she remains committed to defending the rights of Las Piñas residents.
