In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, two bus passengers fell victim to a brazen shooting in Nueva Ecija.
The suspects, believed to be members of a possible gun-for-hire group, managed to escape, leaving authorities scrambling to apprehend them.
Authorities, led by PMAJ Rey Ian Agliam, Chief of Police of PNP-Carranglan, are exploring various angles in their investigation.
"Everything is being considered, from the live-in partner's relationship to family business. That's what we are looking into," stated PMAJ Agliam.
The incident unfolded in a challenging topography of mountains, roads, and rivers, providing the perpetrators with an opportunity to escape easily.
"They went through the river because of the topography – mountains, roads, and river. They traversed the mountain," explained PMAJ Agliam.
The meticulous planning of the crime suggests a potentially premeditated act. "It's more or less like they surveyed the area, that's why it seems planned. Based on our analysis, they could be a Gun-For-Hire group," added PMAJ Agliam.
