The Navotas Regional Trial Court has issued arrest warrants for six police officers suspected to be involved in the murder of Jemboy Baltazar.

According to documents released by the court, a thorough examination of affidavits and evidence related to Jemboy's murder revealed sufficient probable cause to apprehend the officers.

The arrested officers include Executive Master Sgt. Roberto Dioso, Cpl. Edmard Blanco, Pat. Benedict Mangada, and Staff Sgts. Gerry Maliban, Antonio Bugayong, Jr., and Nikko Esquillon. Following the court's decision, they are currently in the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

However, they will soon be transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in compliance with the arrest warrants.

In a case of mistaken identity, the 17-year-old Jemboy Baltazar was killed as cops were looking for an alleged murder suspect and were told the suspect was on the boat Baltazar and his friend were cleaning.
