House Speaker Martin Romualdez has come forward to address the criticisms being directed at the integrity and honor of the House of Representatives.

Addressing his fellow lawmakers, Romualdez affirmed his commitment to protect the House and its principles from those seeking to undermine it.

"I will stand against anyone who attempts to intimidate us into following their wishes," declared Romualdez. "I will stand up – all of us will stand up – for the good of our nation."

The Deputy Speakers, Party Leaders, and Members of the House of Representatives have officially voiced their support for the Speaker's leadership in a resolution titled "Upholding the Integrity and Honor of the House of Representatives and Expressing Appreciation, Solidarity, and Support to the Leadership of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez."

The resolution emphasizes the importance of unity and commitment to maintaining the dignity and reputation of the House, especially in the face of adversity and threats. It underscores the House's dedication to the safety and security of its members while performing their duties.
