The death of fourteen-year-old Francis Jay Gumikib has prompted his grieving family to pursue legal action against the teacher they allege is responsible for their son's untimely death.

The body of the young student has been transferred to the forensic group at Camp Crame, where an autopsy is underway to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his passing.

Francis Jay Gumikib's death, which occurred on September 20, has sent shockwaves through the community. The preliminary reports suggest that the student was allegedly assaulted by his teacher, leading to his death.

The forensic examination results are anticipated to be released within the next seven days.

Elena Minggoy, the mother of the deceased student, expressed her distress over the delay in the autopsy process, citing issues with obtaining Francis's death certificate from the hospital in Rizal. However, she also acknowledged the assistance of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in expediting the retrieval of the necessary documents.

The mother firmly believes that her son was perfectly healthy, leaving no apparent reason for his sudden death. She has placed the blame squarely on the teacher who allegedly assaulted Francis Jay, demanding that the responsible party be held accountable for their actions.
