Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr. vehemently denied recent reports claiming that he would be returning to the Philippines on Wednesday. In an exclusive interview with Radyo Pilipinas, Teves insisted that the news was nothing but "fake."

"The news of me coming home is fake. I wish they had asked me first before spreading such statements," Teves stated. House Secretary General Reginald Velasco assured that they were prepared to provide the necessary protection to suspended Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr. in case he decides to return to the Philippines.

Despite an earlier message on PTV News, Teves strongly asserted that the circulating news of his return to the Philippines on Wednesday was "fake."

The Negros Oriental Representative's denial adds to the confusion surrounding his supposed homecoming. It remains uncertain why the initial reports emerged and what their motivations might have been.
