At 3:00 PM today September 29,2023, Tropical Depression "JENNY" was tracked approximately 1,410 km East of Central Luzon, positioned at coordinates 15.8°N, 134.8°E.
PAGASA said that the country could potentially experience disruptive weather conditions.
The bureau said that the southwest monsoon is currently exerting its influence on the western regions of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga can expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in these areas.
Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Western and Central Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rain showers and thunderstorms driven by the southwest monsoon.
Northern Luzon, the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, and Eastern Visayas will experience light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to northwest, alongside slight to moderate coastal waters with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters.
Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to west. Coastal waters remain relatively calm with slight to moderate conditions and wave heights reaching 0.6 to 2.1 meters.
