UST Golden Tigressess Shock Defending Champs NU Lady Bulldogs with Win

In an exhilarating match that had the entire UAAP community on the edge of their seats, the UST Golden Tigresses shocked the NU Lady Bulldogs by ending their impressive three-year, 20-game winning streak in five sets.
UST managed to clinch the first two sets by narrow margins of 25-23 and 27-25. Not willing to go down without a fight, NU regrouped and took the next two sets convincingly, winning 25-17 and 25-22. With the game tied at two sets apiece, the stage was set for a thrilling fifth and final set.
The UST crowd erupted in joy as they witnessed their team pull off a stunning upset against the defending champions in the fifth set with 15-11.
