In a surprise announcement on Tuesday, former beauty queen and actress Vicky Rushton revealed on her Instagram account that she is expecting her first child with her partner, Jason Abalos.

Sharing a photo of her holding her growing belly, the 29-year-old wrote, "The first time we saw you 🤍 For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts. We are over the moon to share that our little angel is coming soon."

The post was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities, with many expressing their excitement for the couple's new journey into parenthood. The couple has yet to reveal the gender or due date of their baby.

Rushton, who hails from Bacolod, first gained national attention when she joined the Pinoy Big Brother and then joined Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant in 2011, and Binibining Pilipinas in 2018 where she won as the first runner up.
