Witnesses On Missing Beauty Queen Come Forward To CIDG

Two individuals claiming to have witnessed the beauty pageant contestant, Catherine Camilon, in a bloodied state inside a vehicle have stepped forward, according to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the Philippine National Police.
The witnesses made their revelation yesterday November 8, 2023 and provided sworn statements.
Simultaneously, the two witnesses positively identified a person of interest (POI) in Camelon's disappearance, who happens to be a police officer.
According to their accounts, they spotted the police officer, who is the POI, in a subdivision on the same night Catherine went missing. They claim to have also seen the bloodied victim being transferred from her vehicle to another one.
The witnesses further allege that the POI was accompanied by two to three associates, and one of them was purportedly the POI's personal driver. They stated that they were held at gunpoint by the POI's companions during the incident.
Meanwhile, ongoing CIDG investigations have confirmed a relationship between Camilon and the police officer, which is believed to be a possible motive for the beauty queen's disappearance.
