Wounded Soldiers in Army Base Shooting Being Treated in Hospital

CAGAYAN DE ORO, PHILIPPINES — The Armed Forces of the Philippines announced that the critically wounded personnel who were involved in the shooting inside Camp Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro are being treated at the Station Hospital.
The AFP also expressed their sadness over the shooting incident that took place inside the headquarters of the Army’s 4th Infantry Division.
The incident resulted in the death of five soldiers. It also announced that they have directed the Philippine Army to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and implement measures that will prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
