Actor Dominic Roque has filed a cyber libel case against well-known showbiz columnist and vlogger Cristy Fermin. The case was filed at the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasig City.

Roque's decision to file the case stems from several malicious statements and innuendos made by Fermin on her YouTube channel, "Showbiz Now Na." According to the actor, Fermin's remarks have damaged his reputation and caused him significant emotional distress.

In his complaint, Roque emphasized that Fermin's statements were baseless and deliberately made to tarnish his character. "I cannot allow this kind of defamation to go unchecked, especially when it is meant to ruin my reputation," Roque stated.
