In a show of unity and support, the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the largest political coalition in the country, has thrown its full backing behind the Philippine National Police (PNP). On Monday, the alliance, which includes the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-CMD, Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP), and National Unity Party (NUP), issued a strong statement emphasizing the importance of law and order.

The message was clear: No one is above the law. The leaders of each party, including notable figures like PFP’s Executive Vice President Anton Lagdameo, Lakas-CMD President House Speaker Martin Romualdez, NUP Chairman Ronaldo Puno, NPC Chairman Vicente Sotto III, and NP National Director Yevgeny Vincent Emano, signed the statement, which highlights their commitment to supporting the PNP in its duties.

In their statement, the alliance urged Filipinos to stay vigilant and calm and to trust the democratic processes that protect the nation. They called on everyone to uphold the principles of justice, peace, and order for the betterment of the country.

“Our nation’s strength lies in our collective adherence to the law,” the alliance emphasized, adding, “Together, let’s continue striving for a just and orderly society, where the rights of every individual are protected and respected.”
