Actor Baron Geisler found himself in trouble once again after being detained for a few hours at the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) on Saturday, February 22. According to police reports, authorities received a “trouble alarm” from Barangay Canduman around 3:00 a.m., prompting them to respond immediately.

Geisler, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was brought to the police station for causing a disturbance. He was later released after paying a fine for violating City Ordinance 11-2008-434 (Drunkenness).

Following the incident, the actor issued a statement addressing the situation. In a social media post, he expressed frustration over what he called “misinformation” from news outlets.

"Breaking my silence," Geisler wrote. "There’s a lot of misinformation circulating, especially from news outlets that failed to verify the facts before reporting. Irresponsible journalism has blown things out of proportion, creating unnecessary confusion. I want to make it clear—I’m okay, and I’m seeking legal advice to address this properly. To those who continue to stand by me, thank you. Your support means everything."

The actor also apologized to the PNP and his family. While Baron has had past controversies, many fans continue to support him, hoping this is just a minor setback.
