Ben&Ben, one of the most beloved bands in the Philippines, has finally broken their silence on a long-standing issue that has been unfairly haunting them for years. In a heartfelt and straightforward post on social media, the band addressed accusations that have repeatedly claimed they were the reason other performers couldn't take the stage at events.

This issue resurfaced after a performance at an FEU Diliman event, and Ben&Ben decided enough was enough—it was time to clear the air.

According to the band, they were informed about delays at the FEU Diliman event on August 17, and their management team immediately stepped in to ensure everything went smoothly.

Their priority was clear: make sure the event went as planned and that all performers had their moment on stage. Despite their best efforts and constant communication with the event organizers, they were devastated to learn that Dwta, an artist they admire, was unable to perform.

Ben&Ben emphasized that it’s always been a challenge to balance their commitments to event organizers while also advocating for their fellow artists. They’ve consistently fought to ensure that no performer is sidelined, even being flexible with their own schedule to accommodate others. But, as they pointed out, the final decisions on event schedules rest with the organizers, not the band.

In a proactive move to prevent such issues in the future, Ben&Ben announced that they’re now including a new clause in their performance contracts. This clause ensures that they’ll only agree to perform if the event’s program is followed and no artist’s performance is canceled or moved. They want to make it clear that they’re not just taking these issues lightly—they’re actively working to protect the rights of all artists involved.

The band concluded their statement by asserting that they won’t stand by silently anymore. They’re committed to bringing the truth to light and holding the proper entities accountable for any mishaps. Ben&Ben’s message is clear: they’re here to support their fellow artists, and they won’t allow baseless accusations to tarnish their integrity any longer.
